This beloved marine has been requested for a long time now, as far back as the Brawl days, and with characters like Cloud, Banjo, and Steve now on the crossover’s roster, the idea of him joining seems less and less like an impossibility. This brings us to another iconic mascot from Microsoft’s lineup: Halo ’s Master Chief. A year later, the relationship hit a second peak on October 1st, 2020, when Minecraft Steve was announced for Ultimate ’s second wave of DLC, crashing Twitter with his reveal.
